Herbal oil
Herbal oil is the name given to all edible oils that are mixed with herbs. The edible oil absorbs the contents (flavours, nutrients, etc.) of the herbs. After a few weeks the edible oil takes on the taste of the herbs. Depending on the herbs and the concentration, the oil can be used as a seasoning oil, herbal oil or even as a remedy. These oils are easy to make at home. The following herbs are suitable for making herbal oils: Wild garlic, basil, chillies, dill, tarragon, fennel, garlic, coriander, bay leaves, marjoram, peppermint, rosemary, sage, chives, thyme, juniper, lemon and onion.
