Seed oil

Seed oil refers to oil that is extracted from seeds, nuts or kernels of fat or oil plants. The vast majority of commercially available plants and edible oils is seed oil. In contrast to this there are oils that are extracted from the pulp of the oil plant’s fruit. The oil is extracted by means of mechanical pressing or industrial refining.
